Initiation Fee

$100 for Riding Members and $50 for Social Members. Only one initiation fee shall be required per household. The initiation fee shall be waived for active-duty military personnel.

Riding Membership:

1 rider: $250/year, 24 work hours

2 riders: additional $125/year, additional 12 work hours (36 hours total)

3+ riders: additional $75/year, additional 12 work hours (3 riders is 48 hours total)

Short-term Membership:

3 month membership

Rider Supporter/Handler Membership

Exclusively for parent/guardian or family member who will handle a horse (tying, holding) but DOES NOT ride or lunge.

Affiliate Membership

Open to individuals, business firms, organizations, clubs, societies, associations, or other appropriate groups desiring to support the efforts of the Association in the promotion of youth, equestrian, recreational and civic activities in the Poway area.

Honorary Membership

Bestowed in recognition of outstanding service to the Association upon recommendation of the Board of Directors and approval by the general membership.

Work hours may be purchased at $18/hour at the start of a new membership or at the beginning of each calendar year (first 30 days) for existing members. After this time period work hours may be purchased at $20/hour.

Members will be billed midyear for work hours. Members are required to work 40% of their work hours by July 31st.

Work hours and membership dues will be prorated to 60% of annual obligations for new members who join after July 1st.
