Poway Valley Pony Club (PVPC) was founded in June 1982 and is a Southern California Region affiliate of the United States Pony Clubs. Our program accepts members ages 7 and up, as well as adults. Members ride in lessons four to eight times a month in groups that are formed according to student ability. Members also participate in unmounted (horse management) lessons. The Pony Club curriculum is designed to provide leadership experience, having experienced members help and mentor new and younger members. Meetings are held at the Poway Valley Riders Association, and are led by highly experienced professional instructors.
