Partnering with Schools and Districts

For more than half a century, the Poway Valley Riders Association (PVRA) has been a trusted community partner and neighbor—bringing together youth, families, and educators across San Diego County. Our 14-acre facility offers open-air spaces and hands-on learning environments ideal for K-12 student programs, school events, and professional gatherings.

Learning, Team-Building, and Connection

PVRA welcomes schools, districts, and parent or student groups to host activities, trainings, or retreats on our grounds. We specialize in creating experiences that blend:

  • Outdoor learning and team-building

  • Riding lessons and equine-related activities for all ages and experience levels

  • Wellness and social-emotional development

  • Career exploration in animal care, equine science, and recreation

Whether you’re planning a single-day field trip, a teacher wellness event, or a student leadership retreat, our team can curate a customized program that meets your goals in a safe, engaging, and memorable setting.

A Longstanding Commitment to Youth

PVRA has a proud history of welcoming youth of every background and ability to connect with horses, nature, and community. Generations of local students have discovered new skills, confidence, and friendships here—an experience we’re eager to share with new schools and partners.

Let’s Create Something Together

We invite K-12 educators, district administrators, and parent leaders to reach out about hosting your next event at PVRA.
